Behavioral Health

Individual, couple, group, and family counseling services are provided in office to any adult or family seeking authentic life transformation. The treatment planning process for Behavioral Health services is focused on your goals, and we can change, add, or edit these goals as your progress through your wellness journey.

We offer Intensive Outpatient Services (IOP) for Substance Use Disorder, Targeted Case Management services, and have the ability to make referrals for a higher level of care as needed.

Our Behavioral Health Services team specializes in a variety of presentations and populations including:

  • Substance Use
  • Dual Diagnosis
  • Mood Disorders
  • Anxiety
  • Trauma Informed Care and Treatment Modalities
  • Couples and Families
  • LGBTQ+ community
  • Women’s Transitions

As a team of mental health professionals with wide range of expertise and life experience, each person who walks through our doors is able to establish a connection with someone handpicked for you.

The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for Substance use consists of 3-hour group sessions, 3 days a week for 4 to 12 weeks. IOP allows you to learn from the experiences of others, share your own struggles and successes, and develop new coping skills.  It is a wonderful option to prevent admission to inpatient or residential facilities or assist anyone transitioning back into the community from these settings.

Appropriateness for any service including IOP is determined by the assessment of licensed mental health professional throughout the intake and treatment process.

Our Targeted Case Management team provides access to resources through Alteri Behavioral Health, the community, and other professionals needed to benefit you, your family, and others in your support system. We provide assistance gaining or maintaining:

  • Housing
  • Transportation
  • Employment
  • Food and Clothing
  • Education
  • Legal aid
  • Income and Budgeting
  • Parenting
  • Mental and Physical Health

Targeted Case Management services are completely voluntary and consultations with your Targeted Case Manager occur at a minimum of twice per month in office. These services are available upon request at any point and can also be offered independently if you are not able or do not wish to seek out other Behavioral Health services with us.

Medication Assisted Treatment

Our Medical providers understand the importance of listening to you and understanding what you are looking for from a treatment program. We are here to support your recovery goals by providing two options for medication: Suboxone or Vivitrol.

Suboxone is prescribed in multiple forms and is a combination of two medications – Naloxone and Buprenorphine. Naloxone works to block the effects of opioids while Buprenorphine helps reduce cravings.

Vivitrol is a monthly injectable form of Naltrexone and is used to treat alcohol or opioid dependence. It can ease cravings once you have decided to taper from Suboxone or can be requested at your first appointment with our providers.

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) requires:

  • A minimum of biweekly therapy visits
  • Weekly medical appointments until  you have talked to your medical provider and/or wish to begin process of tapering your medication
  • Drug screens at each medical appointment
  • Presenting for randomized pill counts as needed

Medication Assisted Treatment is most successful when you are committed to taking your medication as prescribed, attending sessions with your therapist, and seeking out the support of your friends, family, and community.

Anyone receiving Medication Assisted Treatment at Alteri Behavioral Health is provided on-site lab and pharmacy services through Cordant Health Solutions.

Urine Drug Screens are performed and observed by a trained lab technician.

Pharmacy services are available on-site for most prescribed medications including Suboxone. We value your time and are committed to providing the best experience when picking up your medication.
