About Alteri Behavioral Health

Alteri Behavioral Health is licensed through the Commonwealth of Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services as a Behavioral Health Services Organization (BHSO) and an Alcohol and Other Drug Facility (AODE). We provide compassionate and judgement free behavioral health and medication assisted opiate use disorder services for those suffering from addiction in our communities.

Our story begins in Lexington, Kentucky among beautiful horses, loving folks, and a resilient reputation. Our founding team of diverse, compassionate professionals came together with a simple vision of a community free from addiction and the aftermath on our families. As our team grows and we expand our reach to other communities, we strive to take each day as it comes and remain focused on each person who walks through our doors.

Alteri, meaning “to alter” or “to change” in Latin, seeks to embody this principle not only in name but in practice. We developed a full spectrum of behavioral health services to better serve any individual seeking to alter their path in life.
